Review of Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011) by Gary-Paul P — 27 Mar 2012
A trip into the life of Jiro Ono, considered by top sushi afficionados to be the world's greatest sushi chef. Warm and endearing Jiro shares his life philosophy and passion for sushi perfection with the utmost humility.
His mantra is "You can never reach the top because no one know where it is." This movie will leave you with a great appreciation of Japanese culture and cuisine. I left wanting to board a plane to Tokyo to visit Jiro's 10 seat restaurant - Sukiyabashi Jiro in Ginza.
You eat 15 courses in 20 minutes for $400 cash....but most importantly you have the most incredible sushi dining experience of your life!
