Review of Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011) by Connor L — 05 Jan 2013
This documentary doesn't leave a viewer on the edge of his seat, it doesn't make him feel angry or sad, it's just an elegant and inspiring story of a sushi chef who started from nothing (He grew up without a father and started working as a child) and became one of the world's most renown, if not the most renown, sushi chefs in the world.
The film has beautiful cinematography and a very calm and inviting vibe throughout. I recommend watching this if you're a fan of Japan, documentaries, or sushi.
