The movie left me puzzled: by how the seeming simplicity of their fare/techniques required such singleness of purpose; by Yoshikazu's loyalty to his father; by how such rigid routine lends itself to creativity.
As for Michelin 3-star consistency, Jiro seems to have perfected that.
