Review of Jinnah (1998) by Sandra S — 05 Jul 2007
Great epic movie. Some great camera work and shoot taking. The Best scene has to be when Shashi Kapoor is asking Jinnah Sahab questions on the train, and then suddenly the same train pulls up at the station and Gandhiji walks off to be greeted by Vicory Lord Mountbatton.
Very clever direction involved with a limited budget. Iv seen this movie over and over again and im not even Pakistani or Muslim. Christopher Lee is great as Jinnah, his dialogue deliver has a high level of conviction.
The Soundtrack is also a great blend of western score combinded with Tabla and sitar sounds. Its just a shame the soundtrack was never released.
