Review of Jingle All the Way (1996) by Grant F — 23 Nov 2013
It has been years since I have seen Jingle All the Way and I don't think it has ever been funnier. This film is so outrageous and plays with the commercialism of Christmas in such a way that is hilarious. It never takes itself to seriously and as long as you don't either you should have a great time with this Christmas film.
I would also like to note a particular scene near the end of the film when Arnold is sneaks backstage at a parade. This scene is visually spot on, and I had to applaud it for setting up a great reveal.
The dialogue is terrible and the plot really not that good. As for the acting, some good some terrible, but ultimately I didn't care, I had a really good time during this revisit.
