Review of Jingle All the Way (1996) by Rosetta M — 05 Jan 2018
This is one to watch at Christmas so it has a higher score based on that. It's a pretty mundane film but is silly and full of Christmas songs to pass the time.
The film misses the point on the greed of children at Christmas due to mass merchandising. The child is horrible and needs a reality check... apparently, if he does not get a toy he will be the loser at school. So he continually whines and sulks.
So his father promises he will get one and proceeds to continuously break the law and ruin everyone else's Christmas, seriously! The message of this film is terrible...it's a very cynical movie that is only watchable due to Arnie.
