Review of Jindabyne (2006) by Matt R — 26 Jan 2008
The film takes almost 40 minutes to start telling a story. For the next hour and a half, it crams so many themes and ideas into what was, in Carver's original story, a simple but powerful exercise.
It tries to do too much and takes too much time doing it. But Linney is great, as usual.
