Review of Jindabyne (2006) by Laura V — 05 Oct 2008
Powerful in its portrayal of the way that men have lost their way in today's sophisticated politically correct arena. Women are shown as making all the decisions and steering their menfolk to civilisation.
I found it a very depressing film but for all the right reasons - thought-provoking and beautifully directed for what it was. Only 2 stars though, because not enough happened. Also, very little character development, if any.
