Review of Jindabyne (2006) by Kat M — 18 Apr 2009
The film is beautifully shot, and the music is haunting. Didn't really want to see it at first, but I was compelled to watch 'til the end. Unfortunately, I didn't empathise much with the main characters, so the film didn't quite hold together for me.
I loved the nuances in the characters, but I didn't feel as though I had the chance to fully understand why they were the way there were (though perhaps I wasn't meant to get it all in the first sitting).
