Review of Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade (1999) by Laurence H — 29 Mar 2006
What if Germany had won the second world war? This is that future, set in Japan against the backdrop of dissidents trying to set a revolution in motion and overthrow the current government. The red riding hood theme it plays on is very effective and the relationship between Fuse and Kei is very interesting.
The ending is tragic and there's a haunting beauty that runs throughout.
