Review of Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade (1999) by Bum D — 01 Sep 2007
Most everything Oshii makes is a total gem. This is no exception. The bleak setting still allows for a touching story about a killing machine and a little red riding hood. The political plots are fascinating within the alternate fascist history of japan.
As always, there's plenty of the realistic action and bloody violence one can expect from an Oshii film.
