It wasn't any where near as good as the original series but I I am glad they brought it back. Games you can't win isn't the style the original movies had though. It is overly heavy handed and it's big surprise is actually not if you know the way Saw unfolds.
The traps are way complex at times but the simple ones are by far what save this movie. Decisions....that great theme that made Saw a favorite are also shinning moments. "Torture Porn" that makes you think is extreme and meant to be squeamish but the writers could have taken a page from the original script.
Hope the next one is better.
