Review of Jigsaw (2017) by David L — 06 Oct 2018
After eight of these films, you'd think you would know what to expect now but even though it's a dead cert that you'll be submitted to more traps, more blood, more gore, and more helpless victims being asked if they want to play a game, the concluding scenes still have that unforeseen twist to them that leaves you feeling on a bit of a high.
My honest opinion is that the last film tied up a lot of loose ends nicely and it was always going to be difficult to link this one in. Having said that, this is a decent effort which will still appeal to all SAW lovers through its consistent use of what made this series so unique, and its original take on the horror genre as a whole.
