Review of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (2007) by Abhishek D — 16 Jun 2007
Aditya Chopra's wasted a lotta money he made from Dhoom...Shaad Ali needs another Mani Rathnam movie to remake because he is simply inept in understanding a love story,Vaibhavi Merchant needs to realize that theres more to choreography than smart camera angles(which had been a problem since Fanaa),Ritesh Soni forgot his job as an editor is to make the transitions smooth and watchable,Abhishek Bachchan needs a shaving kit and Preity Zinta( and I simply adore her) is no dancer and finally this is not Lara Dutta's big break.
The only spark is in Bobby Deol who somehow is likeable in the movie inspite of his Golden locks...and I think there was an Amitabh Bachchan or maybe someone looking like him dancing away to glory and somewhat dressed like a clown.
I think Adi Chopra needs to slow down and take moment to think about what he put his audiences through!
