One of the best films of the 90's focusing on one of the most polarizing cases and historical events of the 60's and featuring one of the best casts ever in film history. Often considered along with Wall Street to be Stone's best film in terms of bravado and craftmanship, featuring amazing cinematography (by frequent DP Robert Richardson) and great accompaning score and editing.
Costner delivers one of his best performances here and is at the height of his popularity. Demands repeated frequent viewings for the subject and depth they go into.
