Review of JFK (1991) by Daniel T — 03 Jul 2009
Despite what you think of the conspiracy theory, this is perhaps one of the best Oliver Stone films ever made. The thing about Stone is that you either like him or you don't. Here, though, it impossible NOT to like him.
Usually, I find trouble paying attnetion to long movies the entire time. That isn't to say that I don't finish them, just usually over a period of time with rest breaks in between. With this one, though, I stayed rooted the entire time.
It is impossible to look away. The acting is solid, and the editing is superb. Stone at his best, and a great cast and intriguing story line to back it up.
