Review of JFK (1991) by Shae S — 23 Feb 2012
It doesn't matter how many of the characterizations in this movie are accurate, the fact remains that the powerful evidence presented in the Zapruder film prove government lies. Oliver Stone directed an incredible work, and is a patriot for having done so in such a thorough and uncompromising way.
Costner gives a heart stirring performance, his strongest I've yet seen. Gary Oldman is perfect as Oswald, once again disappearing utterly into the role, and once more proving his status as one of the greatest actors ever committed to film.
Very good performances as well from the rest of the supporting cast, and all the other elements that make up this film effectively move it towards that goal that it most certainly achieves: convincing the American public of the undeniable certainty of government conspiracy, as well as the heroism of those who chose to stand up to the machinations of evil.
