A solid film that really paints a picture of what happened on that famous day in 1963.

I think this might be Kevin Costner's best performance after Dances with Wolves. The supporting cast is really one of the best all time and it shows. I think the only weak performance was the sister from Rosanne.

I think the one concern I had with the film was the length. I found that the major facts of the investigation are repeated over and over again with another repeate in more detail at the trial. The problem with this is I wasn't interested in hearing about the same thing again. I think it would have been better if they built it all up and then you get the climax in the court room the same time as the jury.

Not a movie you would watch once a week but still a great peice of filmmaking in a specific point of view of what actually happened in that day that really changed the world.

I look forward to 2029 to find out what actually happened that day.
