Review of Jezebel (1938) by Madeline S — 22 May 2006
A rare film about politics, a frightening epidemic, and love lost. This was my first Bette Davis film. She was both enchanting and frightening in what is perhaps one of the first spitfire perfomances. Davis's portrayal of Julie is timeless.
