This unknown film represents life and addiction in a way that Darren Aronofsky can only dream about. Billy Crudup established himself as one of my favorite actors with this role. This has an eclectic cast that is tremendous all around, but Crudup's performance is ethereal.
Better than the book. Regardless of what kind of movies you're interested in, give this one a shot. I doubt you'll regret it.
