A great movie shot in Montreal AND about Montreal??? Yup, who would have thought! But this picture perfect retelling of the Christ story is it. It's not preachy; this movie has none of that Left Behind mentality where non-believers deserve to die in apocalyptic fire bull$hit that is the standard, occasionally sugarcoated message in Christian media); true love here is given to all, with no hypocrisy and no selfishness.
Daniel Coulombe wants to make the world a better place for all, not just for self-identified Christians. And that message is what matters.
