Review of Jesus Henry Christ (2012) by Robin W — 16 Jul 2012
Yes the plot and dialogue were extravagant , it was filled with theatrically quirky elements, and strangely resembles the test tube love child of Little Man Tate, Rushmore, About a Boy swirled together and squirted into Welcome the Doll House.
Those aren't necessarily bad things. In an age where movies are produced for small mined neophyte religious type hypocrites this movie was a spunky, quirky, family drama turned black comedy. Unless you were/are the Jock, Cheerleader, Religious Zealot, or possibly a test tube baby yourself you can turn down the literal explosions a few decibels and watch a screwed up leftwing family be demolished and reborn while chuckling at their expense.
