OK, so when I got done watching this yesterday, I really didn't like it that much. But the more I thought about it, the more I kept coming back to the music in the film. That is the one reason to see this film.
Some characters seemed better than other (I found Judas more compelling than Jesus), and some scenes make no sense and come right out of nowhere (King Herod's scene in particular). If nothing else, see it for the music, because I'm sure glad that I was introduced to these songs.
