Review of Jesus Camp (2006) by Zane T — 16 Feb 2009
This is both one of the funniest and scariest movies of all time. I hate to use the word indoctrination loosely, but these adults are infecting these kids minds. I wouldn't say they are brainwashing, more like guilting them into being Christians, which is really sad.
I'd like to see these kids in about 10 years when reality hits them and they realize you can't go around calling all black people Muslims. If there is anything more irritating than that rat tail on the back of Levi's head, it's that oversized Jesus shirt he keeps wearing.
His mother is a doozy as well. When she says, she wants him there near her, I shudder. As for that girl, who must remember to dance for the Lord and not for the flesh, I just wanted to laugh. It reminded me of the mosh pit I heard at a Christian rock concert.
If you think this documentary is biased, it isn't. The filmmakers let Becky Fischer look at all the footage they were going to use and she was okay with. I just want to know about that whole life-size George Bush cut-out.
Isn't that worshipping fail idols.
