Review of Jesus Camp (2006) by Zayne R — 20 Sep 2009
Seeing this sort of thing kind of horrifies me. There's things I can't comprehend in life, and a few are in this film. Denying equality to gay people, blind faith in a leader that has sent us through seven circles of Hell and back, the denial of the terrible state of our environment and, well, the almost totalitarianistic brainwashing of children. It's frightening.
All in all, an interesting, terrifying look into the Evangelical lifestyle. Mostly the latter of the two.
This is right up there with Village of the Damned as far as frightening children are concerned.
