Review of Jesus Camp (2006) by Andrew B — 05 Apr 2010
A frightening and unsettling documentation of an Evangelical Christian Camp that invites young people to their preachings in an attempt to intensify their devotion to God! It is incredibly sad that these children are introduced to such a 'cult' and exposed to such aggressive brainwashing and propaganda at such a young age.
These are intelligent children that have sadly become so narrow-minded that as a viewer you are distressed for their future. Even devout Christians were protesting the use of minors for such a political stand.
It never judges these youngsters nor the adults responsible for their molding, it just observes the absurdities at play. A bold, yet interesting film that is sure to make anyone question the extent their children should be exposed to religion.
