Review of Jesus Camp (2006) by Brian H — 24 Dec 2010
Jesus Camp is a haunting and candid documentary about the children and directors of a fundamentalist Christian summer camp. Although I suspect evangelicals will find a lot to enjoy in the devotion of these crying, shouting, singing children, the movie is equallyâ??if not moreâ??effective when viewed through the eyes of a secularist.
No matter how you feel about the subject matter, you are bound to feel something, and you can make of it what you want from that point on.
