"Jesus Camp" is a documentary about the Kids on Fire camp, where children are taught or rather brainwashed into becoming evangelical Christians. The young children are made to believe that they are sinning and many cry and weep, for they believe they are evil.

In the camp, they even tell the kids things such as Harry Potter being evil for being a warlock, saying things such as "warlocks are enemies of God". These children are young and at the learning and development stage, and so they are extremely impressionable.

Because of this, I believe this camp is incredibly wrong in their forceful brainwashing of children. They are forcing all this information inside these children's heads to the point where these children believe themselves to be evil people.

This is the opposite of what we had all learned about the teachings of Jesus, how loving and forgiving he was to all people. The camp cannot take advantage over the still undeveloped minds of these children and force them into a religion.

I believe religion has to be slowly encouraged, and in the end religion should be the child's own choice. The film however was extremely well done, showing both the extremism of the camp and comparing it to scenes where of moderate Christianity in the form of the interview of a moderate Christian radio host.

I would recommend anyone who has an interest in extremist religion or just religion in general to watch this award winning documentary.
