Review of Jesus Camp (2006) by Jaclyn L — 30 Dec 2008
It's hard to rate this film. it was really well done, but some of the subject matter was quite disturbing. so my rating may be too high or too low. I probably will never watch it again, but I was glad I did.
it's interesting to watch this film now after the 2008 election because a ot of the things mentioned politically that extremely conservative christians were banking on were disproved a couple months ago.
the filmmakers take an interesting approach of just filming what happened and don't provide their own commentary. the only dissenting voice is Mike Papantonio on his radio show (in the film) who has a more balanced view of Christianity and what it means (or should mean).
