Review of Jesus Camp (2006) by Roger S — 21 Jul 2009
This doc beautifully sends the message that children have the right to choose their own religion and having parents shove their beliefs down their kids' throats is brainwashing. The kids in the film are 12 or younger, and cannot fully comprehend what is being done to them. The minister even says whatever a child learns by 7 or 8 will be with them forever.
**PS, the film is from the perspective of a Christian, so don't go screaming Bill Maher at me**.
Expose kids to all faiths and tell them that all or none of them might be right, and let them make intelligent decisions themselves.
