Review of Jesus Camp (2006) by Stipina S — 24 Nov 2010
Jesus Camp wasn't half as frightening as I thought it was going to be, which must be good. It's mostly just sad to see kids being denied a childhood and being force-fed others' beliefs. Not that you shouldn't be able to homeschool your children, teach them your beliefs or even send them to Bible camp, but when you're cutting your kids off from the real world, screaming at them about political issues, and basically worshiping Bush (or any president), something just isn't right.
Anyone reading this who wants to go down to one of these camps sometime and help me pass out spliffs and Harry Potter stuff is welcome.
