Sarah Snook gives a great performance here. I see her doing big things in the future. despite a very creepy scene in a bathtub, Jessabelle is a choppy, lazily written, dull, often boring "horror film" with a terrible plot.
you could do way better if you're looking for something that you actually want to be scared by.
