Review of Jersey Girl (2004) by Bill B — 09 Jul 2010
Gave this one a re-watch from the To-Watch Pile, and I have to say that it's still a funny, sweet film that holds up rather well if you're willing to ignore at least a few conveniences of the plotting.
Smith tells a touching story without trotting out the normal grocery list of vulgarity that he seems compelled to throw in as a fan service to his college fans in other films like Zack & Miri or Clerks II.
Well worth a look, give it a rental.
