I think that the intensity and sheer craziness of the times that most of the boomer generation lived through including the bands that entertained us is spot on in Eastwood's depiction of "Jersey Boys" musical.

I certainly would agree that some of the actors are new and untried but so were the original musicians who were the Jersey Boys, young, unsure, at times just terrible singers and bad actors. In this, I think was the intent of Mr.

Eastwood's depiction of this story. I believe none of us would get professional sounding until we became more experienced and some bands in those days were plainly better in the studio!
