It is a almost full copy of the musical version, line to line 90% similarity, only 10% added was a bit of Frankie's parents and him with his daughter scene, expanding the story a bit, strictly speaking, not a single added plot.
A bit of disappointed the movie doesn't have any creativity, maybe it can be treated as a DVD release of the musical, For that manner can't complain.
