Review of Jersey Boys (2014) by Kyle M — 22 Aug 2014
It's more enjoyable for those who knows about the Jersey Boys and are familiar with them. But you can find the film with a similar approach to James Mangold's "Walk the Line" in performances of acting (trying to match the level of great actors like how Vincent Piazza nailed a younger version of Robert DeNiro) and music following the story of a musician(s) with the Hollywood cheese. However, the characterization was sort of a little hard to keep track at the same time the story was being a little convoluting. It requires another viewing to understand more of it, but it's worth seeing it with its energizing musical moments. (B+).
