While not anywhere near perfect, this is Clint Eastwood's most focused movie in awhile. Plus the musical are moments are very well directed and Eastwood gets great performances from John Lloyd Young and especially Vincent Piazza(who walks away with the film whenever he's on).
One of the biggest surprises of the year.
