Review of Jersey Boys (2014) by Steve W — 27 Jun 2014
Based off the Broadway play, Jersey Boys tells the story of four young men who would become The Four Seasons. It has good acting and musical numbers, but its pacing is slack and the dramatic moments don't feel authentic, as everything feels like its been turned up for melodramatic effect.
The set design for the period piece is great (as is with Clint Eastwood period pieces), but this movie is entertaining enough with enough flare and solid performances.
