WHHHYYY!?!?! why did he force himslef to love her? jerry loved dorothy's kid MORE than her!! and you know how in the movie theyre talking about how "it's no ones fault" and how it has to be someones fault.
.. well it was BOTH of their faults! he faked his love and she fell for it... the real love was was between rod and his wife. They truly loved each other and jerry should have seen that and realized that he couldnt go on with being married to dorothy and call it quits like she tried to do in the fist place!!!! just sayin'.
