Review of Jennifer's Body (2009) by Jordan C — 03 Jul 2012

Out of all the horror movies of this generation, Jennifer's Body is one of the more better ones. It's nice to see an original horror movie and not just a remake. Jennifer's Body is about a teenage girl who is friends with this other girl called Anita.

One night they go out to a bar where a rock band is playing and then the bar catches fire so the rock band invites them to their van. Anita refuses but Jennifer goes with them. But it turns out that they find that Jennifer was a virgin so they kill her and she comes back as a demon.

From then on its just Jennifer killing all the boys and then at the school dance, she goes and kills Anita's boyfriend and so Anita kills her. She is put in a mental institution and then breaks out.

I like the acting in this movie. Megan Fox does a good job as Jennifer and so does Amanda Seyfried as Anita. The whole movie has some good action and is a good time watching the movie. The ending is very good and the whole movie is filled with some good kills and blood.

The movie isn't really scary though and it is different from the trailer. Overall I had a good time with this movie and I highly recommend it.
