Review of Jennifer's Body (2009) by Turtle L — 14 Nov 2011
I have no idea what this movie is trying to be. A horror movie? A comedy? I'm going to call it a Fox-sploitation film. What's weird is that it has the most B-movie plot ever, yet it was written by the person who gave us "Juno". The movie is a lot of things, unenjoyable is not one of them.
The plot: Jennifer (Megan Fox) a popluar high school cheerleader is captured by an emo band and has a virgin ritual performed on her. Since she obviously is not a virgin, she is transformed into some kind of demon? I don't think it ever specifically says what exactly she turns into. She then feeds herself by eating boys.
That's right: Megan Fox eating people. Not exactly Oscar material. This is far from a good movie but I'm giving it a somewhat positive review because it's way more enjoyable than say, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen". Also, it might be a good movie to watch with the guys after a few beers.
