Review of Jennifer's Body (2009) by Sarah R — 14 May 2013
Despite Diablo Cody's best attempts at injecting the same quirky, lovable dialogue that made "Juno" so popular, the combination of unlikable protagonists and the overwhelming feeling that the entire screenplay is trying much too hard to be witty, leaves the viewer uninterested and univested in the film.
"Jennifer's Body" ambitiously attempts to be combine the comedy and horror genres, however in actuality, the film is neither funny nor scary; it is simply boring.
