Review of Jennifer's Body (2009) by Lihui C — 06 Apr 2014

"Jennifer's Body relies on the talents of it's two leads; Megan Fox as the demon possessed hottie, Jennifer, and her friend, Needy, played by Amanda Seyfield. The whole story involves around the two friends whom, throughout the years, have grown apart from each other due to different interests which is normal especially when it comes down to childhood buds.

Attached to a shaky relationship with Jennifer, Needy becomes highly suspicious of her when the old bar unexpectedly burns down and the Low Shoulder, an indie band that was playing at the bar, decides to take Jennifer on a ride in their white tinted-window van.

As the town, Devils Kettle (wth?), recovers from the fire tragedy, demonic-possessed Jennifer thirst for human blood and decides to kill off boys of all cliques by seducing them before gnawing her teeth into their neck and stomach.

Needy discovers this and warns Chip, her boyfriend, about Jennifer but is unable to stop Jennifer's boy-hungry appetite and her sense of insecurity which might threaten their relationship. Watch it because of the friendship the two shares, it's actually pretty profound and emotionally affecting.
