Review of Jem and the Holograms (2015) by Eli R — 21 Oct 2015
"Jem & The Holograms" after thoughts: (Spoiler Alert) Film version is not close to TV storyline, a whole different sort of entertainment I again was surprised to have enjoyed watching! Kids in the audience seemed to have enjoyed this as well & heard some applause from them during credits.
The make-up, costumes, & names were the same though. I would admit that the soundtrack to this film is a must have, can't wait to find out the rest of the artist who lent their talents to produce the sound, I think Macy Gray was in one? Juliet L (Erica) killed as the power hungry music producer & our beloved Molly back on the big screen is always welcomed! The entire young actresses portraying as leads did quite well "harmonizing" together.
YouTube & social media have provided positive outlets for young adults & the film showcased various talents that were quite interesting to see. Closing introduced characters that I almost forgot but at first glance I knew who they were (go see if you want to know!).
Great message in the story & should have been released as a summer film that would have captured more attention. ð???ð??¼ð???ð??¼ð???ð??¼ of 5 (3 of 5) #jemandtheholograms #jemthemovie.
