Review of Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2012) by Kati D — 16 Jul 2012
This is one of the most boring movies I have ever seen, right after Drive and No Country for Old Men. It does not have any meaning when the whole idea of it is "The Meaning of Life" or at least that's what I think it is.
The first hour of the movie is extremely dull, however... the entire movie is dull actually. I'm not a big fan of Jason Segal and find him annoying since How I Met Your Mother, I just wish his acting is as good as his interviews.
I do not get why people like such movies, maybe because their lives is as boring as Jeff's. The movie is about a man who is so boring that everyone hates him, he lives in his mom's basement when he's 30 and by the end of the movie he doesn't even get a girlfriend or moves out or even a job! The finale makes you feel the movie had a purpose and was epic when it is nothing close.
Only reason I gave it 2/10 is Ed Helms and 1 is just too little, or is it? Please be the judge.
