Review of Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2012) by Fabulous H — 13 Jan 2013
Strong performances from Segal, Helms, Greer and Sarandon anchor this good but flawed film. This film could have gone so wrong so easily, but the story at its heart, about the reconnecting of two very different but equally lost brothers hit close to home, and while the film veered toward the cloying preciousness that mumblecore is known for, it managed to keep me invested throughout.
Truth be told, it played me like a fiddle.
