Review of Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2012) by Nathan H — 21 Jan 2013
Just a complete waste of comedic talent. The first third of this movie only has a few laughs, and the last two-thirds isn't even trying to be funny. It takes it self way too seriously, and thinks it is making a profound statement, but it certainly didn't resonate.
Susan Sarandon's storyline was fairly stupid and only seemed to exist in order to get her into the climax, only, in the end, there was really no reason for her to be there either. The movie is a chaotic mess.
I'm sure part of that was on purpose, given the nature of the film. Either way, it only serve to drag the movie down further.
