Review of Jeepers Creepers (1939) by Ryan H — 15 Sep 2017
Featuring forgettable main characters and an unforgettable monster, Jeepers Creepers isn't great, but it's not awful either. The premise, creature design, kills, and most of the scares are all good, but the film is let down by mediocre acting, an iffy ending, minimal character development, and a few too many horror cliches.
Overall, this is an adequate horror movie that's just entertaining enough to make you forget it was directed by a convicted pedophile.
