One of the most challenging film's I've ever seen.
Jeanne Dielman, 23 Quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles forces you to question what you've know about story, narrative, pacing, mise en scene, character development, basically everything you've thought was the basics of filmmaking. It's a rough ride, and you may hate it, but if you give it a chance you may find something that gives you a unique perspective on what the cinema and film can do.
