One big, tongue-in-cheek inside joke. A kind of tribute to Smith's prior work squeezed into movie form. Not worth seeing unless you've seen all the other Kevin Smith films (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, etc.
), and then only to laugh at all the cameo performances.
